Alternate Energy, LLC, a Plymouth Massachusetts based renewable energy
business specializing in the design, project management, distribution, installation and integration
of renewable energy systems including solar photovoltaic, solar thermal, wind energy, and bio-
fuel systems, announces the recent completion of a financing transaction providing new capital
to support the Company’s growth initiatives. The transaction proceeds were raised by a group of
private investors led by Apex Advisors, LLC (Hingham, Massachusetts). Brian Murphy,
Managing Director of Apex Advisors, LLC, will play an active management role within
Alternate Energy. In addition to Mr. Murphy, Richard Krant, Jr. will also play a key role in the
management of the Company. Mr. Krant is a highly experienced executive who has CEO level
experience in a number of industries and is also a member of the group investing in the
Company. Both Mr. Murphy and Mr. Krant will work closely with Steven Pitney who founded
the Company over 30 years ago.
